Rihanna's digipak includes a medium shot of Rihanna in a skimpy outfit in a bikini and a top . This is a convention of an R&;B artist as female artists tend to wear skimpy and sexy outfits to appeal to males. The colour tends to stay the same throughout the digipak, the colours consist of blacks, organge/gold colours with Rihanna in a creamy dress type outfit to fit the background. Her genre of music was very typical R&B and therefore she had to portray a certain image. This was one of Rihannas earlier albums when her image was much softer and less racier as opposed to her image below...
This was one of Rihanna's recent albums 'rated r'. You can see by the edgy photo and dark colours that the album is going to contain much more deeper songs. The photo and colour scheme create a moody tone for the album.
